The Science
During an initial meeting your trained IQS therapist records key indicators of your smoking habit as well as personal and lifestyle information. This data is then programmed into the patented R.I.S.E® device where the “No Smoke” software creates an individualized program.
The IQS process is based on the principles of Reflexology a practice which uses pressure point massage to stimulate energy flow throughout the body. This process, when applied to the ear, is called Auricular Therapy.
Pressure points in the ear relate to different systems in our bodies and the IQS treatment stimulates these pressure points which in turn fuels the release of endorphins. Endorphins are a natural compound manufactured by the body and can create a sense of vitality and well being.
The treatment uses gentle electrical stimulation which helps to break up the poisonous substances of Tobacco and Nicotine which have accumulated in the organs due to smoking. The release of endorphins in the bodies system covers the nicotine molecules and blocks the receptors which relate to tobacco addiction, thus reducing the craving for nicotine.
The Technology
The IQS method is the most modern and technological application of auricle-therapy principles by means of a sophisticated electronic device called RISE (Reflection Instrument Scanning Electropulse) developed in the IQS laboratories.
Through focused and precise electrical stimulations of specific points of our body it is possible, in a totally natural and non invasive manner, to heal a great deal of illnesses.
The IQS team has been studying the application of the method on smoking for several years, and is able to guarantee up to 90% positive results by applying the IQS procedure.
Technology is the cornerstone of the IQS System. The R.I.S.E.(Reflection Instrument Scanning Electro-pulse) Device is an internationally patented instrument developed by Quit Smoking International and is the essence of the IQS Technology. The device was developed in Europe in full compliance with international requirements for safety and commercial use including certification from UL (Underwriters Laboratories), CE (European Certification), FDA (Food & Drug Administration), and the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
Additionally the system bears the international "EMC Mark" (Electromagnetic compatibility) required by Europe, Japan, Australia and the United States. These certifications have allowed delivery of the IQS treatment on a global scale. The RISE Device not only controls the individually programmed treatments but also gathers critical customer and centre information. This data is managed through a worldwide network (An IQS Intranet) linking all franchisees treatment centres.
