These messages have been part of the "Anti-smoking" campaign for many years but 2007 will see the introduction of a UK wide ban on smoking in public places.

Your Health

  • Cigarette smoke is THE GREATEST single cause of premature death in UK.
  • In the UK one person dies from smoking every 4 minutes.
  • Some 106000 people die each year as a result of smoking, that’s 1 out of every 5 deaths!
  • Persistent smokers die, on average 12 years younger than non smokers.
